Porshia joined the Serenity Veterinary Care team in June of 2022. She has worked in veterinary medicine since 2006 in a wide variety of positions at primary, referral and emergency care veterinary hospitals. Her knowledge of how a hospital operates from reception to treatment has given her the ability to help find a solution, even when there doesn’t appear to be one! She has a passion for fostering needy animals and finding forever homes (even if that means keeping them sometimes). She and her family share their home with two labradors, Shake and Sugar, and two cats, Aria and Whisker Biscuits. In her off time, Porshia enjoys spending time with her husband, David and son, Theo as well as crafting and painting.
